so technically its tomorrow but really since i havent gone to sleep yet its still today.

today i learned that one gummy bear has 30 calories. i am never eating them again. thats so gross.

also, all those stories on MLIA about giant gummy bears in water are true. gummy bears actually do get huge. its pretty exciting

Today I learned that guys are awesome, but totally not serious at all about the party you plan to have with them at midnight a few days before.

I also learned that other peoples families are always way cooler.

I’m sorry. I’ve already failed you all.

Yesterday, I learned that the anorexia slogan is something along the lines of “skinny tastes of nothing at all”. Apparently, that is a bad thing. I’m obviously not encouraging anyone to starve themselves for their appearance. It seems to me, though, that there is nothing false about that statement. Skinny tastes of nothing at all. If you don’t eat anything, you will indeed be skinny. I think the problem occurs when people instinctively assume that skinny = beautiful. Beautiful does not taste of nothing at all. Beautiful tastes of caesar salad, and chicken noodle soup, and bacon cheeseburger, and chocolate chip brownies, and gummy bears. Beautiful tastes of everything that you like. Being skinny does not necessarily mean being beautiful, and being beautiful definitely doesn’t mean being skinny. Being beautiful means being attractive and confident and friendly and whatever you want it to mean.

Today, I learned that penguins poop incredibly. It shoots out like a rocket behind them. It’s pretty impressive. And very hilarious.

Even If You’re the Favorite, You Can Still be Put to Work

Today I learned that even the favorite grandchild can be sent to shovel snow if the grandparents are too lazy. However, you will be given the least amount of work, but if you do a good job, you will be the only one who is praised.

Also, sometimes boys who find you annoying one night will bring up cute inside jokes the next night. Sometimes their internet crashes and they don’t leave you on purpose.

So basically what I’m thinking is every day (or so, depending on how bored/busy I am) I want to document at least one thing i learned. It could be really stupid and really random, or it could be really intellectual and result in my winning a Nobel Peace Prize. Most likely it will be the first of the two.

You’ll learn pretty quickly that I’m kind of a spelling nut. I cant stnd wen ppl typ like dis. aNd i Re@llY cAnT sT@nD wHen pE0pLe tYpE lIkE tHi$. Not everything is going to be capitalized, not everything will be spelled right, and not everything will be 100% grammatically correct, but I promise I will type like a human being.

Today I learned that however good Flirty Mango sounds like it would smell, it doesn’t. It doesn’t smell tropical and mango-y and delicious. It smells pretty gross. And I don’t think you’ll be very flirty when you’re stinking off all the guys.

I learned that sometimes it’s good to hang onto the ugly sweaters you get for Christmas, because when you go to visit your grandma they will appreciate them a lot. As long as you don’t actually say you think they’re ugly.

I feel like this will be a lot cooler a blog if people respond. Probably nobody will for a long time, but if you learn something new or something cool or you want to say hi, please do. So thanks a ton for reading, you’re pretty much amazing. I almost typed xoxo as a sign off, but then I felt like that show Gossip Girl. So peace out, I’ll see you tomorrow.
